LCLAA Comunidad de Trabajadores del Sur y Organizador Laboral

LCLAA busca un organizador comunitario y laboral bilingüe a tiempo completo para dirigir una campaña concertada e interseccional destinada a empoderar a los trabajadores inmigrantes de la cadena de suministro de Hyundai/Kia en Alabama y Georgia. El organizador trabajará en estrecha colaboración con socios comunitarios, sindicatos y otras partes interesadas para llegar y apoyar a los trabajadores inmigrantes, defender sus derechos y fomentar un cambio significativo en la industria en Georgia, en el área de Atlanta.

The Community and Labor Organizer is responsible for conduct outreach and engagement with immigrant workers employed in or near Hyundai/Kia production plants, construction sites, and temp agencies in Alabama and Georgia. Organize know-your-rights sessions, community forums, and other events to empower immigrant workers and educate them about their legal rights and protections. This is a salary position. The starting salary range is $55,000 - $60,000/year plus benefits.
